Menu: More than Sushi and Sashimi




  1. Yummy! I like that menu. :-)

    We often have a starter of home grown green beans literally straight off the plant from the garden. It is one of the benefits of home grown veg. We normally do them tossed in melted butter and black pepper but I’m going to try the sesame oil and soy (along with the rest of the menu) Some people think we are mad for having a starter of just beans but for us they are a celebration of the beans coming into harvest. A family tradition now :-)

    1. That’s nice! I’d like to do the same but the intense heat here scorched most of my vegetables. A sad sight. It really is survival of the fittest out here. Good thing most of the herbs are Mediterranean in origin so they don’t mind the heat as much as the green beans…
